Four Officers Honored By Jupiter PD For Quick Response In Stabbing

The Jupiter Police Department is honoring several members for their quick work in responding to a stabbing incident back in July.

Sergeants Bill Allen and Michael Salvemini, along with Officers Quinn Harris and Jonathan Castaneda, arrived at the Jupiter Cove Apartments to find a man who had been stabbed in the chest.

Allen, Harris and Castaneda worked to stop the bleeding while Salvemini gathered information on the suspect and then arrested 20-year old Danny Lynn Tims, who ran from the scene.

Both Tims and the victim were living in the apartment complex.

The victim was rushed to St. Mary's Medical Center, while Tims faces several charges in the case.
