University Students Celebrate Their Graduation

High school graduation season is underway in Palm Beach County with several commencement ceremonies going on over this week and next.

Most of the graduations are being held at the South Florida Fairgrounds' Expo Center, with seniors from three high schools taking the next step on Wednesday (Santaluces at 8 a.m./Lake Worth at 12 Noon/Royal Palm Beach at 7:30 p.m.) and two more on Thursday (John I. Leonard at 8 a.m./Wellington at 12 Noon).  The graduation ceremonies will continue on Friday and Saturday, then again Monday through Thursday of next week.

Plan on extra time if you're driving along Southern Boulevard, east of State Road 7 and other roads near the fairgrounds.

For family members who can't attend, the ceremonies will be shown live on the Palm Beach County School District's TV station, the Education Network.  They'll also be streamed live online and for the first time they can be watched on YouTube.
