A 16-year-old has non-life-threatening injuries after being bitten by a shark.
The Nassau County Sheriff's office says the girl was boogie boarding in the Atlantic Ocean when she was bitten on her foot and ankle on Friday.
She was reportedly able to get away from the shark and return to a pool area at the resort she was staying at on Amelia Island.
She was then taken to the hospital, where she received several stitches.
