White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson is out of the running to become secretary of the V.A.
He announced Thursday morning that he was "regretfully withdrawing" his nomination to head up the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Jackson was scheduled to have a confirmation hearing this week, but it was postponed indefinitely after allegations of workplace misconduct came to light.
