We're learning more about what the Florida Highway Patrol initially thought was a case of road rage that shut down the I-95 exit ramps to Gateway Boulevard Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
Investigators now say this was a domestic incident. 29-year old Ericka Edwards is at Delray Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
FHP says Edwards jumped out of her car during a fight and the woman's partner struck her with the vehicle before taking off.
The vehicle was found at a home near Seacrest Boulevard and according to reports, the victim's girlfriend is cooperating with investigators.
