There are only two days left in the enrollment period for the Affordable Care Act and Florida is expected to break a record.
More than 802,000 Floridians had signed up for health insurance at Healthcare. gov, as of December 2, the end of the first four weeks of open enrollment.
That gives Florida more enrollees than any other state according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The number during the same time in 2016 was just under 515,000 in Florida.
The deadline for open enrollment at the exchange is Friday, Dec. 15.
