Water Main Break Has Greenacres Residents Under Boil Water Order

Residents of one Palm Beach County neighborhood are continuing to boil their drinking water.

County utilities officials say an outside contractor that was doing construction work along Lake Worth Road in Greenacres ruptured a water main on Saturday.

While the break was fixed by Sunday morning, residents of the Lucerne Lakes 2 subdivision are still under a boil water order, as a precaution. These addresses are affected:

• Pine Manor Drive; Pine Air Drive; Pine Branch Drive
• Lucerne Villa Lane; Pine Park Drive North, South & West
• Pine Park Circle; Pine Green Run; Lucerne Villa Lane
• Pine Garden Lane; Pine Lake Court; Lisa Drive

Another water main break in West Palm Beach on Friday led to the closure of Tamarind Avenue as water spewed into the street and flooded the Kravis Center garage.
