A Palm Beach County safari park is enjoying a couple of honors.
Lion Country Safari was just voted Top Local Tourist Attraction by readers of the Palm Beach Post as part of the publication's "Best of Palm Beach County" Reader's Choice awards.
That news comes on back of the Loxahatchee attraction ranking among the 10 best safari parks in the nation by USA Today. Lion Country Safari ranks seventh and is the only Florida park on the list.
It has a 4-mile drive through preserve and an adventure park featuring rides, water attractions and animal encounters.
